There's something very compelling about the way the changes in Ianto are played out in this, and how Jack tries to work out the puzzle that is maturity. I really love how the sparkle in Ianto's eye both connects and cements the changes that Jack sees.

Thank you :) So happy that you liked this! Ianto is simply older in season 2, and I miss baby!Ianto from season 1, but at the same time there are still similarities - like the sparkle, but with the difference of maturity behind it.

Besides, how else can you explain the moment in Adrift when Ianto is clearly not flustered by Gwen walking in on them, in fact he's almost bragging in an adorably cute way.
