Why thank you :) It was one of those fics that just kinda wrote itself.

I personally would also choose life with Jess - it made it hard to write the Logan parts without making them completely bad compared to him.

Oh, this is so fabulous. I dunno, for me, Gilmores always have two perfect worlds. Rory/Jess, Rory/Logan...

Now all we need is a companion piece featuring Lor/Luke and Lor?Christopher.

Beautifully done.

Thank you :)

I love Logan, but for me Jess will always be the one she's meant to be with.

I do agree though, it is kinda like the best of both worlds. And as for Lorelai's choice, that's an interesting idea.. I only just finished season 6 though, so i'm not particularly happy with Luke at the moment ;) It'd be totally weighted towards Christopher, who i've always liked despite it all.

Thank you :) I empathise a lot with Rory. And I love Jess, even when he was young punk jess I think you could see the potential. I like Logan too, but Jess is just meant to be with Rory, mwah!

Heh. Dean and Logan. I think Logan would kill dean.... or cut his hair off, hee!

I'm all for Logan and Finn running off together, personally. Dean can stick with Ackles.

I'm another one who is torn between Jess and Logan. I guess because they were both so monumental, unlike Dean, who was too much the 'yes, dear' angel boyfriend who didn't challenge her.

That said, I really do adore this piece. I love that the narration is objective, and there is no obvious yes and no [even though the things it says make the option clear for most]. I love that with Rory/Logan she doesn't think what if, or what could have been even though there are hints she is still the same girl [trying to read her book, thrilled to be at the theatre etc].

Also, these lines are just gorgeous:

He loves her, but he doesn’t need her. They both pretend that’s not true.

They pick up Indian food along the way and spend the evening eating on the wooden floor of the living room reading bits and pieces of prose at each other.

Thank you for sharing =)

Genius meant to add this quote:

She perches on the dark oak edge of the table, hands clutching his back, the diamond bracelet glittering on her wrist.

I'm glad this came across as being objective, because like a lot of people, I would want the choice to be Jess. Having said that, I didn't want it to be too obvious because Logan has his good points too. But yes, I see Rory as not that girl, despite her having fun and loving Logan he doesn't give her the life that she seems to be made for deep down.

Thanks for the lovely feedback! :)

I feel like... wow. I think I also would choose the Jess life? But I want to tell you that you did a fabulous job with Logan, especially the last part, how they were so impulsive and playful. :)

Jess writing in the newspaper margins KILLED me. <3

Thanks :) I'm glad people found my Logan at least somewhat impartial, heh. As much as I like him, he ain't Jess.. but the life she'd have with him isn't all bad, just different.
