Monday night and Tuesday were Lag Baomer.
In short, we are celebrating the cessation of the plague that took the lives of thousands of Torah scholars, and the revelation of the inner secrets of Torah. It's a happy time.
Traditionally people have bonfires, music, carnivals and such. Well. Let me tell you. There was a bonfire.
There was a carnival. Two long blocks of blow up jumping things.
I played with and took many pictures of fire, and had much fun at the carnival. All in all, it was a great day, one of the best Lag Baomers I've had since I was a wee little kid. ^_^
