The Best Day Since Yesterday
For all the awesome that was Yom Tov, today was awesome too. But hey, it's still Yom tov, so that explains it! ...Or something.
Anyway, Ani and I went for The Longest Bike Ride and an exciting downtown adventure, featuring wrong directions, confussion, and wipe-outs. Okay, fine, one wipe out at the end of the trip. It was fantastic, and we made it to the house of Bow alive and intact only half an hour or so after our actual Downtown arrival.
And then, games commenced. Oh, how they commenced, with they dice, and the dinos, and the words and the beans. Wait, no, beans were food. Bow made some bean dip which smelled very good. Alas though, tis Pasach, so I can not eat beans, even if Bow's kitchen were kosher. But now I wish to make beans, and might do so later. If I remember. All in all, a great time was had by all.
Also allowing me admittance to the Awesome League of Awesome, I managed to bike from Hiawatha to S Louis Park, in just over half an hour. Hurt my tush to do it, but I did it. It was worth it though. MAB unexpectedly had to leave early to Postville, meaning I will not be seeing him until I briefly run in to him back in New York, and then, who knows, for he is off to Israel.
