Moments in Time - New York Edition

Well well well. I'mma typing up a post! I'm feeling pretty awesome about that, sitting in front of a computer, with Internet, for longer than two seconds. It's pretty awesome.

I have been informed that there is snow back home, which is pretty darned awesome. Pretty too, I might add. Someone texted me a picture. Here it is still very fallish, much to my annoyance. It's chilled enough that one would think snow would be with in the week, but I think that shall not be.

The scarf mentioned before which I was knitting is complete and I have started my next project, a baby blanket for my brothers baby. Did I mention that Shorty is pregnant? She's do nearish the end of December so I must work fast, and...I'm not so sure that's going to work so well, seeing as I have much confusion over these new stitches. I think I have them figured out now though, which is much the yay. We shall see how it goes. On the note, the yarn store I went to here is eh. I was spoiled in Minnesota by Borealis Yarns which is HUGE and Tardis like.

The girls here are nice, but they are no Ianto and Ani, nor Alix, nor Heather. I'm not quite sure where I fit with them, though I hang out at the dorm a bit at times, and walk about with a few after dinner ect. ...I just don't know.

I've come to notice how very strange I am compared to most people through my interactions with them. And, I have a habit of saying such in the midst of conversation, much to the annoyance of one girl. I must work on that. Another thing is that my OCD seems to be regressing, flaring up, whatever you want to call it. I have gotten so much better about not needing to sit in the same place, people bouncing their legs, so on and such like, but it just seems to be...not here. I'm hoping this is just due to stress and change and that it will all go away on it's own. On the other hand, it might not in which case I must call Dr. Converse. We shall see.

sewing knitting and such like, new york, yek, i might be slightly crazy, bubby, moments in time, weather
