Yeah, haven't posted in a week or so, not that anyone really noticed or anything. Does anyone actually read this thing anyway? Well, yeah, slightly sorry, a bit...kinda? Life, you know. It's been doing stuff, which is rather cool.
when we last left our hero, her mother had just returned home, and a great and joyous time was had by all. This joy has, for the most part, continued. And by this I mean things are going rather well in Q-land.
I got a new book erev Shavuot, well, two actually, but one I am really excited about. It lists and describes all the mitzvot, and has all kinds of little insights about each one. Very exciting stuff. I was learning it on Shavuot, and let me say, awesomesauce. Though, I kind of wanted to go through them all by the end of the the all night, but, I fell asleep, which made me rather sad. Aaand, I didn't get them all done through the rest of the Holiday...But that is okay, 'cause I can do them now, and on Shabbos, and whenever else. *nod*
On the work front, well, much excitement there as well. MJ informed me today that they are looking to have people wander the aisles and assist customers, he thought I would be a very good candidate for the position he said. Of course, I kind of did my little pick me thing when he was done describing it...It sounds like it shall be much fun.
However, on a slightly sad and annoying note, it looks like I will not be doing the camp thing with Mrs. F. due to some snafus of sort. It's sad, because I really wanted to help her, and she really needs the help...-_-
Also on the down, there is an interesting blip in the section eight thing, in that we have apparently been giving the management too much rent. See, they increased the rent and did not tell the section eight. So we paid the increase, but this is apparently highly illegal or something and could cause much badness for both us, and the building. So tomorrow we have to go talk to the folk and get the extra money back from them. It's a bal'a gan. How would one spell that?
On a happy note of awesome, TBP and I shall be home this shabbos and will be having soup of tasty. I have not had my mother's soup in over six months. How sad. She makes really, really good soup. soup, soup, a tasty carrot and coriander...Yep.
...This entry sounds slightly hyper, but I'm really not. Odd.
