As if there isnt enough depressing stuff in the gay world, this is the second "gay" book in as many months that i have read where boy meets boy, whirlwind romance, in love, one boy dies and the other is scarred for life. That shit is just fucked up, no wonder a large portion of gay kids are suicidal geez...

Don't knock it till you tried it. Just joking!!! That's why I don't ready gay novels anymore. Someone always dies, if not from AIDS, from something else equally as fucked up. Oh well!

Sounds like the gay 'feel good' story of the year. LOL. Then again, I think we all know people that are so overly dramatic that they could make their lives into trashy gay novels. I live with someone just like that LOL.

Yeah... most gay books aren't exactly classic novels. You're not missing much without them.

I suppose in the end it made me think, which isnt bad for a gay book. You know oddly all that happened to that kid wasnt even really the main point of the book, the book was half mystery half coming of age story. (shoulda left out the mystery part cause it sucked)
