You're such a wonderful person, but you got problems

So yeah time for a real update after the fragments of entries I've been posting.

So since I last updated with a real one, which was probably the one I made when I was close to delirious in Helen C. White, stuff has happened. So Halloween weekend was pretty good, although for different reasons than last year. Friday, my group went to watch us get beat by Boston Douchebag College and then we went to Eric's, but Peter and I decided to check out State Street and it wasn't all that great. Last year's Friday night was much more crowded at 10:30 at night.

But yeah, Saturday we all went to the Wisconsin vs. Illinois game and it was not fun during the first half because we couldn't move the ball and Illinois was up 24-10 at the end of the first half. However, the excitement began when we thoroughly dominated the second half and won 30-24 and I pretty much lost my voice. The best part was the fact that I pretty started the "High school punter! (clap, clap, clapclapclap)" chant that we did every time that UI's punter had a bad punt (which was every time). It was great seeing the entire student section doing a chant I started, although it probably helped that I was in the 3rd row and section O is right by the upperclassmen section. Yeah, that game was great. Then I came back to my room, slept, woke up, and went to the Kohl Center to witness another embarassing loss to the douchebags from the city of Dunkin' Donuts and overrated baseball. But what's great is that we're 3-3-2 and ranked #5 by USCHO.com, and all of the teams below us have worse records than us. However, we've played highly ranked teams, so it makes sense. After that, I went to a party at Eric's house and a bunch of us went walking around on Langdon and eventually wound up back at his house. Yeah, I didn't go to State Street this year because they charged 5 bucks and that's lame and I had a feeling that it wouldn't get wild and crazy like it did last year and lo and behold, there was no tear gas. But I ended up with a random drunk girl in my room for awhile.

Yeah, this week I really haven't done any work because the last two or three weeks were hellish in terms of work so I'm taking this week off and then I get to go to Milwaukee to celebrate the birthday of Whaley the younger and eat at Famous Dave's and have Kopp's.
