Even flow, thoughts arrive like butterflies, oh, he don't know, so he chases them away
Darn good weekend so far.
On Friday, after work I met Beef and Sean at Summerfest and we went and saw LYNYRD SKYNYRD!!! Oh man, that was an awesome show, even if we didn't get to the Roadhouse in time to actually sit down, even if we arrived there 2 and a half hours before the show, which is earlier than any other time I've arrived at a stage and still been able to sit down. Nonetheless, it was still great. I also got my eggplant strips, which are pretty much a requirement for any serious Summerfest-goer (that or Mozarella Marinara from Saz's). Earlier in the day, we even caught a little of Dave Mason (ex-Traffic and played with Jimi Hendrix). However, I wish I could have seen Tom Petty and Pearl Jam, because that would have been amazing.
Saturday, I did not go to Lizzie Wood's wedding, but instead went to Wendy's and then went to Sean's where we watched the Pepsi 400, the Brewers not beat the Twins and Fond Du Lac get severe thunderstorm warnings, tornado warnings, and flash flood warnings. Then we went to Church's Chicken and got a whole lotta chicken for not a lot of money and it was good.
Today, I'm going to Summerfest again. Isn't that special?
