Mark Wunderlich and Nils Michael read in berkeley. Both were quite good. Particularly enthralled with Wunderlich's poems, how they revolved around ideas of tyranny and intimacy, quite haunting. In one he read circling around his partner's family in southern Luisiana there is a really sharp discussion of race that punched out my breath at the poems' finish.
