Picking a graduate school

Introduction:
In order to rationally pick a graduate school, Jonathan opted for a chance based method.  I fliped a coin and picked a graduate school based on that.  I used the following methodology.

Methodology:
A coin will be flipped to determine which graduate school I will attend.  The coin will be a US quarter of reasonable quality.  Coin tossing will be in the format "best of 3 rounds" where each round will consist of a "best of 5 matchup".  For the first round, heads will be assigned to Duke while tails will be assigned to UIUC.  After the second round, heads and tails will switch assignments such that heads is UIUC and tails is Duke.  Finally, should there be a third round, the heads will be given to the winner of the previous two rounds (matches won vs total matches played).

The coin must be flipped using the right thumb and caught before it hits the ground.  Once caught, the coin will be flipped over with a cupped hand and then revealed.

Results:
Here are the results:

Graduate school brackets:

Round 1Round 2Round 3Heads: DukeHeads: UIUCHeads: UIUCTails: UIUCTails: DukeTails: Duke   Results:  HeadsHeadsHeadsHeadsTailsHeadsTailsHeadsHeadsTailsHeads-Heads--Winner: DukeWinner: UIUCWinner: UIUC
Conclusion:
UIUC (2) vs Duke (1).

Furthermore, this coin appears to be biased as it flipped heads 12 times compared to tails (3 times).
