Piecing life back together.
Still not feeling motivated to make jewelry. I may do it anyway this weekend, because I've run out of queued posts on my jewelry blog as of today. Might also have more earrings I haven't posted yet, to Etsy or the blog, so at the very least I can take out the light box and finally put in the new bulb. But I would like to do another giveaway, and for that I need something small and fancy.
What is more happening is my garden. Giving the old plants a few more days to wake up, and then some of them will get replaced. I'll be keeping most around, just in case, but there are fresh new plants at the Union Square market that need homes too. Today an improv friend is giving me three orphan tomato plants, tomorrow I head to the farmer's market for the green herbs. Still on the fence about the roses. And Saturday I will do the planting. Yay for the mini godswood ;-)
Very tired of clothes shopping. Also tired of wearing *all* black, and would like some other dark-colored bits to circulate around my wardrobe. And spring is usually not a good time for dark colors, but there may be a few surprises left. Have one amex gift card, it may go to books instead, but I will check out the clothing stores near me first. My to-read shelf is already full.
My lack of reading probably also impacts my ability to brainstorm new shinies. Its very strange how bookwormish I used to be compared with now. Now I have the internets, which are somewhat less inspiring for jewelry work. There are still GoT shinies on the horizon once I get back in the habit of wire wrapping. One writer I've gotten a lot of work from in the past just ... isn't getting my brain going with their latest read. That doesn't seem so weird, tho. Some things get stale over time. Time to spread love to others.
Unfortunately, I'm also noticing a new throat tickle today. Time to pick up more Airborne :-/
