Itttttt's official!

We've been in our new place a WEEK as of yesterday night!  That's right, Rachel Norris (wolfishrose ), Rachel Ballance, and I have rented a house together.  We officially moved in on Saturday the 17th of April.  :D

This is the outside of the house.  It's right behind/beside/between the Rachel's Unitarian Universalist Church and Bellwood Preschool.  LOL.  I hate small children, and I'm not religious in the least.  Irony much?  It looks a little deceiving from the outside, like... small.  But it's actually quite spacious, and aside from the obvious storage issues implied by the fact that 3 unrelated women are living together, there is a lot of room for us to actually ~live~ in.

This is standing in the doorway, looking into our mudroom/covered porch/whatever it's called.  That's the trusty ole' beer fridge keepin' mah beerz cold.  Oh yea, there's pop and other stuff in there too, I guess.  *huff*  We're still in a bit of disarray (obviously!) but this will eventually be the coat/shoes/pantry.  :)

This is standing in the doorway to the actual house.  My beautiful hand-put-together (omg I hammered my thumb like 12 times...) entertainment center, chock full of wires and various electronics. :D  Also, 3-people's worth of DVD's and VHS...  Yea, basically storage and organization is a nightmare.  What you can't see (and I didn't take pictures of..) is the main bathroom is behind the couch.  My room is that one off to the left.  We're getting there though.. :D

This was taken from standing in the doorway to my bedroom.  There's the adorable arch-entrance into the tiny kitchen.  The bookshelves are serving currently as our pantry/stuff-putter-onner.  YUM-candy cat bowl is on there. Along with INSECTOSAURUS!  And various other garbage. LOL

Oh boy, a blurry picture of the kitchen...  Yea.  Again, storage/organization... not so great right now, but we're getting there.  It's very tiny and not friendly for more than 2 people attempting to cook or do anything.  But we're totally managing.  Also, neon-orange toaster over and microwave from the 70's.  We're wicked cool!

A close-up of the entertainment setup.  Still has some tweaking to do, but thank god it's finally up and running.  The couch is a fold out so, MY OHIO GIRLS YOU CAN SO COME TO CONS WITH US NOW AND CRASH AT OUR PAD!!!! Because we love you. <3

My bedroom!  The desk is temporary, I should be moving my larger desk in shortly.  This one is kind of rickety and itty-bitty.  The babies to the left, bed to the right.  God they are so loud when they munch at night! D:

Speaking of... :)  I do love them though, and it's soooooo nice that everyone in the house loves them too.  They might be a little smelly (ugh, their bad habits... u_u ) but they are the sweetest little bean-bottoms (coined by Alyse) ever.  They are really loving the attention too.  When they were in my room at my parent's, they were only getting attention before I went to bed.  Horrible, I know...  Now they get visited by everyone when they get home from work basically.  And since the laundry-room is off my bedroom, there are people passing through constantly.  Even after a week of constant attention, even my shy little Inara is coming out of her shell big time!  We had a big scare about 3 weeks ago, I thought Kaylee had several tumors.  One of them was quite large in her armpit, but it seems to have just been a cyst that's since gone away.  She does still have a hard little pellet under her skin that I am worrying may be the beginnings of a mammary tumor, so we're going to keep an extra-vigilant eye on it.  Anyways...

The giant-jumble of awesomehuge closet.  And the laundry room.  These are both off my bedroom.

Back into the livingroom, and up the scary stairs of doom and death into the realm of the Rachel's... >_>  I like my wall hanging, crooked though it may be. *cough*

At the request of wolfishrose I've left her room out, since she's not ~all~ unpacked yet... But here's a quick shot of Rachel Ballance's room.  Possibly to be removed later, since I didn't have her permission. LOL.  >_>  She's got a crawfish in that ten gallon tank thar on her desk.  And a mac that is like 300 years old.

And a sleepy picture of me.  A-yerp.  That'sa all for now.  :)

schisse-milken!!!, the house
