Body and home update
It's been quite a month....
We got a whole new HVAC unit. The old one couldn't be fixed. It was too old and no parts were available! It took several days, but we now have solid, efficient heat. Thankfully.
On Jan 8th, I went to a talk that my friend was giving about a 21 day detox program. As soon as I heard about it, I knew I needed to do it. It wasn't cheap, but it was very reasonable, considering what I got, so I texted Avery and he also felt I should do it.
I deferred money that should have gone to paying bills, but, Oh my gods! Am I glad I did! From blood sugar levels around 300, they were down to 200 in a few days, and at the end of 2 weeks, I was seeing levels like 92. Today at noon, my reading was 81! I have already cut my medication in half a week ago and still seeing readings like that! I am ECSTATIC!
AND I lost 10 pounds and 12 inches too. Not bad! So, MY health is going in the right direction.
Home repairs are too, apparently. We had some really cold weather and my kitchen hot water pipes froze. We went out and got some insulation, and I didn't have any problems after that. But out front, the little leak coming out of the ground got MUCH bigger and was flowing down the street.
We had already told the landlord about it three times, so we decided to use the form provided by the county's landlord-tenant act, which demands that she fixes things within 10 days. We listed the water leak as well as the running toilets and the window that has been broken since we moved in. The day after we sent it, she called to arrange all repairs, so right now, everything appears to be working as it's supposed to. Phew! What a long battle it's been.
So, on an upward swing. Still not bringing in ENOUGH money, but even that is looking up. Avery had his first healing client yesterday that found us from an ad. Plus he is almost finished with a book he is writing - and pre-sold his first copy yesterday at a workshop he led.
And I have started to market Cloud Income Properties with good results already. People are interested! Gosh, I may actually succeed as a sales rep after all! *does a happy dance*
