"I don’t think I will ever know the details of Ginny’s death. We don’t really have details."
Thank you. You did this perfectly. Not that my opinion matters diddly. But I was getting scared about this issue as I reread, and you whipped it out towards the end and did it perfectly. Bowing to your skillzzzz, man. Bowing to the skillzzz.
"until ‘meant to be’ is meant for someone else"
YES! YES! YESSSS! Spread the propaganda, dude.
Man, that was too awesome. And it was totally fun to go over it again.
Gravidy closed the mystry of Ginny's death when Hermione says "I don’t think I will ever know the details of Ginny’s death. We don’t really have details."
but then Draco says this: “And I want to tell you about Ginny.”
I guess the story doesn't necessarily need this, though it might be nice if there was a more detailed explanation, but it's already 50 pages, and it's not Harry's or Ginny's story.
Was it 50 pages? I didn't know that! It's a wonderful story, don't get me wrong.. I'm the type of reader who - when I love the world the author creates (even if it is ff) - I just want to know how people interact in that story. I like that the focus is D/Hr, but as I said earlier, I am teased with possibilities!!
Wow! I'm speechless. When I've sufficiently gotten my head together after this excellent EXCELLENT fic I will post a rec in my LJ. Everyone needs to read this if they're at all interested in HP fanfic.
Absolutely perfect use of all the elements. This is definitely one of the best D/Hr I've read. Kudos to you, Gravidy, for a truly brilliant fic.
Gravidy says~ Yay! Really happy you liked it. :) I was all nervous to be writing a story for another person and then I thought I kind of warped your happy little requests for like Blaise in a santa suit and stuff and made it all evil. But it was a fun evil :) And I didn't set Draco on fire even though bk wanted me too. One of the best, huh? Aw, that's outright flattery. My ego's going to get so big its going to burst out of my skull and go destroy Tokyo or something.
Hey Gravidy! I pimped you a little on my LJ. You can check it out if you like so your ego gets big enough to come up here and take a try at destroying Canada! ;)
I like what other people have left as feedback. I wish I were as eloquent as they in describing all the things I loved about this fic.
You know, I would've been mighty impressed if you had included setting Draco on fire and still come out with a happy ending! As it is, I do like that bk didn't convince you to put it in as I am quite fond of the wily Slytherin. :D
Destroy Canada? Don't tempt me. Actually I like Canada cuz they have moose and that's where all the geese go and stuff.
Not eloquent? It was awesome feedback, I was happy that I'd used your requested items right. And that you actually took the time to rec it in your LJ just amazes me. Thank you!
*screams* OMG. that was soo good. The mystery and intrigue all weaved into the story. <3s love it. I am simply admire the idea of the 'kids' taking matters into their own hands - the idea that they became vigilantes; that you tickled me with curiousity as to what Hermione's other personality was - soldier, ex-Death Eater.. what was she
( ... )
Aie! Don't make me think about it more, I'll want to write it! :P
I did feel bad for leaving so much of what happened unexplained but I kept giving the half-assed excuse that it wasn't as important as the action between Draco and Hermione.
Actually I didn't write that other stuff because I have yet to learn the fine art of 'shutting the hell up' and the story would have gone on forever.
This is one story that I would not mind if the author kept going and going. I love authors who create such an intricate plot that is also strong in characterization. Plus, you made me feel what Hermione felt. I asked Brose so many questions about "Something Blue/New" that she wrote a prequel "Bachelor's Party" and she was planning on making a sequel!
You're very welcome for the nice compliments, I was a bit worried about how you'd react to my plethora of questions!

But yes, Gravidy is quite the ho-bag.
