How can I keep from singing?
Well. I have officially joined my first committee at People's Church. I am the co-chair for the concert series. Last year's guests included Peter Mayer, Joel Mabus, Red Tail Ring, and Emma's Revolution. We have also had Carrie Newcomer perform for us.
This year we will have Peter Mayer and Emma's Revolution returning and are working on filling in two or three more spots.
The format doesn't lend itself to a sing after the concert, but there could be the possibility of shorter afternoon sings on the day of the concert if anyone were interested in coming in earlier in the day. Crash space can be found, too, I'm sure.
No guarantees that the featured musician would be part of a circle, but that doesn't have to stop the rest of us.
Just a thought. We'll see how this pans out.
