HK trip ~ Day 1
I should have written this as soon as I got back from HK but having lack of sleep while I was there left me sleepy for days lol!
I arrived at KLIA at about 11p.m. Took the airport train to reach the next gate because it's in a different terminal. I was planning to charge Shinichi when I realized I left my universal adaptor back home (which later I found out that I actually lost it, coz I can't find it anywhere in my room, that means I didn't forget to put it inside my bag *sob* that adaptor is expensive T__T) I waited at the airport for two hours, there wasn't much to see since most of the stores are close that time and I didn't have Ringgit with me (did it on purpose so I couldn't shop lol!) The plane to HK left at about 1 a.m.
I arrived at Hong Kong International Airport at about 5 a.m. Had a short nap before going through the immigration. HKIA is such a big airport I had fun strolling around XD I don't know why but I always love walking around big airports XD Took a shower in the shower lounge. Paid HKD150 (so expensive just for a shower XD) but the bathroom is reaaallly nice! it's like a bathroom of a five-star hotel XD The clerk told me that I had 20 minutes to take a shower, but I ended up spending one hour there lol! HKD150 for 20 minutes?? hell no lol!
Then I called the hostel to tell them that I'd be checking in super late because the live viewing would end late and I'd be having dinner with some other HK fans after that. I'm glad that communication was not a problem because the guy can speak English well (they have to, don't they? XD)
I kept whatsapp-ing with Calubi. Promised to meet in front of 7-11 store. I was excited and nervous at the same time when she texted me that she had arrived. She recognized me first from afar because I told her I'd be wearing my EXILE Tribe photo series tee and a red skirt XD I recognized her because she was waving at me. When we finally met, we hugged so excitedly hahaha....it was a really nice feeling because we didn't feel awkward at all even though that was our first meeting. She then told me our plan for that day, well I'd just go with whatever she had in mind XD
Then I bought an octopus card to make it easier for me to pay for the transportation to places I visited. Bought a new one because I left my friend's octopus card at home XD We then took a bus to Wan Chai because Calubi had to buy something in that area. We were so busy talking about EXILE that I didn't really pay attention to the scenery while riding the bus and all I know is that we had reached our destination lol!
After Wan Chai Calubi took me to my hostel in Causeway Bay so I could check in earlier. The guy was a bit surprised because I arrived much earlier than what I had told him XD The hostel was so so, not a very fancy one if you compare it to K's House hahaha...but it's pretty decent. I chose a female dormitory room for four people. The room and the bathroom were pretty clean, and the bed was also comfortable so it wasn't a big deal for me. I need the bed just for sleep anyway. Calubi seemed a bit worried because I shared the room with others, she was afraid that I might lose my valuable things. I convinced her it wouldn't happen. She didn't look so convinced though XD
Then we went to..err I forgot the name XD we took MTR there (some kind of MRT) then we had lunch. It was very nice of her to ask me what kind of food I can't eat before my arrival. The food was delicious. She had spagetti and I had omurice XD The portion was unbelievably big lol! I asked her if it was okay in HK to leave some food uneaten, because you can't do that in Japan. I was relieved when she said it was okay. That portion was too big for my stomach to handle XD
We left the restaurant at about 2 and headed to MCL Cinema. We were the first to arrive there. Took some pictures with EXILE Tribe banner ^^ then some fans who also happen to be GLAY fans came. They were wearing GLAY T-shirts and seemed excited while taking pictures with the banner.
Then one by one other fans came. I recognized Grace at once because I have added her on my FB. We shook hands and hugged ^^ She didn't speak English much with me at that time. Calubi introduced me to other fans too. They were very welcomed XD Met Lucinda who is an ARASHI fan. She speaks very good English so it was really nice talking with her XD Took more pictures with them before entering the cinema.
My seat was quite close to the screen and I sat next to Wendy, a SHOKICHI fan :D The staff kept reminding us not to take pictures during the live viewing. Even during the LV they kept on checking whether one of us used our cell phone to record it. Wow! so strict! They also took our pictures for their documentation and report for EXILE. And I'm glad that I sat there because I was so obvious in that pic mwahahahaha....
and the concert finally started!!!!
Sandaime JSB was on the screen and we all screamed XD Then EXILE members showed up, getting ready for the concert. Aahhh..the privilege of being able to watch the LV, we get to see the backstage, just like last year <333
Not much different from the opening concert I watched in Nagoya Dome last April. My entry about the opening concert can be read HERE. The only difference is ACE OF SPADES and 999 Galaxy Express instead of Someday.
OMG!!! ACE OF SPADES ROCKS!!!! I especially love Tokie-san performance. The way she played the bass, OMG!!! SO KAKKOIII!!! and TAKAHIRO too *dies* He did okay as a vocalist of ACE OF SPADES. I genuinely think that TAKAHIRO's voice doesn't suit a rock song, but he did okay there. WILD TRIBE was amaziiinggg!!!! the only "complaint" from me is that TAKAHIRO should have worn similar outfits to Tokie or HISASHI, that would be much better to suit the rock vibe XD
Another great performance is the Dancers Anthem. OMG!!!! I always love EXILE's Dancers Anthem in concerts. When I watched the opening concert I couldn't really see their dance moves because my seat was quite far from the stage, BUT....being able to see them that close, seeing their dance moves....OMG!!!!!! WE ALL SCREAMED LIKE CRAZY BECAUSE IT WAS HOT HOT HOT HOOOTTTT!!! SUUUPPPPERRRR HOT LIKE OMG!!!!! I kept imagining my twitter friends whom I watched the LV with last year in SG must have been screaming like crazy too. OMG!!!! IT WAS AWESOMMEEEE!!!!! THEIR SMEXY DANCE MOVES! OTL They left me breathless XD
m-flo came as a guest but too bad he didn't sing ALIVE with ATSUSHI. Argghh...I'm still pissed because they didn't sing it XD it must have been an awesome performance had ATSUSHI and m-flo sung ALIVE together while he was a guest. ugh!
And of course another deadly performance is 24Karats. oh god! it was even much better than VMAJ performance because ATSUSHI took off his jacket and left me breathless countless times lol! now I'm sure that what he had on his right arm is not a new tattoo as he had a different pattern during that performance.
There was no real MC talk like in the last year's LV but I was so dokidoki when ATSUSHI passed the mic to HIRO san. I was soo prepared to hear the "big announcement" from him hahahaha...too bad that didn't happen. orz...HIRO san, you have no idea how many of us were waiting for that XD
It was a really five-hour concert. AMAZING AND AWESOME!!! never have I watched a five-hour concert before with so much awesomeness and hotness and beauty and all that jazz in that five hours. Plus another backstage after the concert wwwwww...
Thank you EXILE for another amazing happening. I LOVE YOU!!!
After the concert I met more EXILE HK fans. One of them, Jove, greeted me in Indonesian I was so surprised XD She told me her parents are Indonesians so she could understand Indonesian a bit XD Calubi calls them EXILE aunties because they are the only EXILE fans among HK Fans who are married :D It's really nice to meet and get to know them. One of them is Japanese, she speaks English very well :D
Then I had a sushi feast with other EXILE fans. The place was quite close to my hostel. The restaurant gave a 40% discount that night so we ordered lots and lots of sushi hahaha...I think I've never had that much sushi before. The waiters kept coming to our table to give more plates of sushi XD it was delicious.
After the dinner Calubi took me to my hostel to make sure I didn't get lost :D She also went up to my room to check if everything was okay. I assured her that I'd be fine. She still looked worried (such an angel she truly is <333) Then we said goodbye after deciding the time to meet the next day.

with this I managed to watch the opening and final concert of EXILE Tribe. What an achievement, I'm proud of myself XD
