best friends ~ good food for for the soul
I really had a great long weekend spent with dearest friends.
I decided to take a day off on Monday since it's a national holiday on Tuesday (Vesak Day). I went to Bandung with some of my plurk friends, spent three days and two nights at haiqa 's in Cimahi (thank you teteeehhh *kisses and hugs*). It was really fun ^^ I arrived the last because I had to work first until 12 on Saturday. I arrived in Bandung at about 4.30 pm, the others were waiting for me, then we went shopping for our snack supplies XD Then we went to Prima Rasa to buy some cakes and snacks for families back home (lol, it was only the first day but we decided to buy some in case we didn't get around to doing it later XD) After that we went back to haiqa's place in Cimahi.
We went to ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology, one of the most prestigious universities in Indonesia) the next day to meet up with my two other friends. Had a great time taking some pictures while having a tour there ^^ It was the first time I'd been there. The campus is really nice because it is surrounded by lots of trees. The we had lunch at Warung Pasta. Glad to have finally eaten some pasta since I have been craving it for weeks XD Then we went to PVJ, spent about two hours there.
We didn't really do much the next day. Went to Prima Rasa again to buy more cakes and snacks, had lunch then finally went home. It was surprisingly very fun for me since I have never really been that fond of Bandung because of personal reason, but going back there after so many years is surprisingly fun :)
and today I finally met Lia again. She is my bestest friend. I really miss her. I can't even remember the last time we met. My work schedule makes it difficult for us to set the time to meet and hang out. And it's even more difficult to meet during weekends since she always has some work to do, and during long weekends she usually goes back to her hometown. So I was really happy when she told me that she didn't have anything to do on Tuesday, that's why we decided to meet. Too bad Shanti couldn't join us. It would be more fun with her around because she always updates us with the newest gossips lol!
We met at Margo City in Depok. She treated me lunch at Hanamasa, spent like three hours there chatting and catching up with each other's latest news. Then we went shopping. Bought the same dress and blouse as they were too tempting. She bought more blouses and I bought a tanktop and another blouse XD The dress was on 50% discount and I need a dress to wear to a friend's wedding next month, so yeah...XD there's always a good excuse for shopping XD Man! we spent quite a lot of money XD This is so yabai! I should not be spending a lot of money as I need to save up for my October trip, but..... ^^;; OK, promise. That would be my last shopping....I think XD
Got home at around 10.30pm. Was smiling happily when I put those clothes in my wardrobe LOL!
I'm broke, but this has been a very productive and fun long weekend, so I guess I'm good XD
