worth watching

I downloaded Toire no Kamisama and Hei no Naka no Chuugakkou months ago because they simply have my favorite actors in them; Ashida Mana-chan and Odagiri Joe respectively.

I hadn't watched them because I thought there was no one subbing this one. Then I read THIS this morning. So I searched the subtitles list on D-Addicts and was surprised to find English subtitles for these dramas. Why didn't I see them before? I often check the list but I have never seen them in it. Oh well....

The two dramas are superbly wonderful and touching. I wasn't expecting Toire no Kamisama was going to be that wonderful and inspiring. There are lots of moral messages in here, about striving for your dreams and treasuring the meaning of a family. And the Obaachan, suggoku rippana Obaachan. I wish I had that kind of experience with my own grandmothers. I hardly know them, my grandmother from my father's side died during the war, and my grandmother from my mother's side passed away when I was very little and she didn't live us. The story is really heartwarming. Plus Mana-chan here, no dramas seem to go wrong with Mana-chan ne? ^^

Hei no Naka no Chuugakkou is also awesome. The students and the teacher learn precious things from their encounter for the whole one year. I cried so hard seeing how hard Sasaki-san tried to stay healthy until he graduated. I kept on saying "ganbare Ojiichan, ganbareee. makenaideee" XD The scene where they took off their socks just to feel the concrete ground outside the prison...I cried buckets T.T

I'm still downloading Kokoro no Ito at the moment. I didn't know that Kamiki Ryunosuke was here, I love that boy XD and it made me happiest when I found out that it was subbed by HEIWA ^^
