i'm taking swahili this quarter, which is pretty cool. i like pronouncing things in swahili but not really learning the grammar. just the sounds of the words are enough.
today, at my new job, i drilled holes into about a hundred fertilized eggs and sucked fluid out of them. oh, developmental neurobiology.
the days have been short but mostly satisfying. i take a lot of pictures and write. i'm wondering whether i want to be a filmmaker or a journalist.
i bought a really expensive lens and i think it's been worth it.
