(no subject)
I thought I should get back into the habit of updating, I know I haven't in a while. I even forgot to post the meet pictures, whoops! ^^; Anyway, here they are. (You'll see Pirouette's new wig in these; Eris's wig will have to be shown later, I don't have any good pictures of it.) I had a lovely time meeting citycat, vanie, and JuliaJellicoe. :) More photos can be found at my new Flickr, and also on spunkyjunk and chibimonki's Flickrs.
First I met citycat/spunkyjunk and vanie/chibimonki. They were very nice but it took me a while to figure out if they were there for the meet or not. They looked like they were waiting for someone, but I wasn't quite sure until they pulled out a dolly, hehe. ^^;
Then JuliaJellicoe arrived at the MLK monument... her dolls are on the left. As you can see, I brought 5 dollies... quite a lot really. ^^; I shouldn't have tried to bring so many, I think I overestimated my dolly-lugging skills. Plus they didn't all get much photo time because of it. :( Joon and Pirouette had a lot of time out of the bag, though, so I guess they had fun. :)
Pinkies! I didn't realize the others collected Pinky:st too, it could have been a joint Pullip-Pinky meet! Maybe next time. :P I think these are the only pictures I've posted of my Pinkies, sadly. I need to devote more time to them. (I was actually thinking of selling them soon but there was plenty of Pinky talk at the meet which got me interested in them again... also got me to join the forum, heh.)
After the monument, we moved around the park to get more photos. This tree was made for Pullips.
Joon loves trees, apparently. The others really liked her and her outfit, hehe.
Vanie's adorable Rovam! She has such a detailed face-up! This was also the first time I saw an Obitsu in person. I really should get one for one of my dollies one of these days. ^^;
Pirouette couldn't find a place in the tree so she got this picture instead. I always think it looks cool when people make their dolls look life-size, so here's my attempt. Not the best, but it was fun. :P
More Pinky love! These aren't exactly my favorite outfit combinations on these girls, but the hair is about right. :P They don't exactly have many options.

A cute circle of dollies. <3 It was cool to see SpunkyJunk glasses and the carrying case at the meet, citycat has some neat stuff! She even gave out little cards and books! :D
I absolutely fell in love with Afternoon at that meet. I already liked her a lot but seeing how beautiful she is in person really convinced me that she's worth every penny. :)
The bad thing about this is that I thought I was done with the "older" (Type 2) Pullips. Apparently not. xD Now there are so many more on my want list, which now includes:

A lot of the ones toward the bottom are maybes... still, they're all beautiful dolls. I doubt I'd get all of them but some will definitely be coming to live with me in the future, hehe. ;) Though right now I'm essentially broke as far as my dolly fund goes. I still have to take care of some BJD stuff before I can buy more Pullips, Blythes, or Pinkys. Not to mention this month I have my Halloween costume to worry about too. It'll be awesome though. ;D
Speaking of dolly expenses, I'm halfway through my payments on Bong Sun Hwa! Bwahaha, she will be mine in January! >:D
I also bought... another BJD head. >.< I wouldn't have done it as I'm trying to concentrate on buying my Poppy girl a body, but there's been a lot of craze for Migidoll Ryu lately and this is the last run Migi is doing of him. This wouldn't matter if I didn't find him completely gorgeous and irresistible, but I do. xD So this is my last guaranteed chance to get him (besides the secondary market, but I don't want to wait until I can't afford him). I think this boy's body will have to be low-priority for a while because Poppy still needs a body, eyes, wig and clothes, and I might want to get a few more Pullips/my first Blythe before I start saving for something big again. ^^;
