Best Weekend ever
Well.... this past weekend was 100% awesome. Friday night I drove up to states in a huge van with Katie, Emily, Rebecca, Burkey and Kiesel. We met at Applebee's on the way with Ashley, Bryan, the Brightons, Mr. H, Paul, Diaz, and Mr. Coll. Good times were had there. Then we got to the hotel and jumped on the beds and ran amuck for a while before watching "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" (which was an excellent movie). I shared a room with Katie and we went to bed at about 12. I couldn't sleep very well though because I was so anxious.
On Saturday I went up to the meet (which was at the sweet Caledonia high school- it had the nicest track ever)at about 11. I got to see Jade and Bryan run in the semis and watch Jose get a medal for 3rd!! in the shot put. It was the start of what would be a very exciting meet. Jeremy, Jamie, Sawyer, Armelagous, Jon, my mom, dad, Shan, Jenny, her mom and Tom, Uncle Bob, Aunt Mary Ellen, Christopher, and Lynn Ketelhut all came. I was really glad that they all came. I got to hang out with Jeremy, Jenny, Ryan, Jamie, and Jon for the couple hours before my race. They helped to calm me down a bunch.
Bryan won the 100 which was awesome adn kind of unexpected. That was sweet to watch... then it was my turn for the mile. I planned on letting the freshman lead for a while. But coming in off the turn on the first lap, she wasn't near enough to me so I had to take the lead myself after I cut in. I put some space on the competition right away so they couldn't use me to block the wind (which was somewhat strong). The fear of her catching me kept me going... and I wont in a 4:55.63!! It was nuts. It was awesome having my people cheering for me all around the track too (and with their signs hehe). After, I was completely dead/sick for like half an hour or so but I chilled with the people that came to see me. We were all so happy. Then I got my medal.. and it was a great feeling standing up on the podium getting the gold medal.
After that...well.. everyone knows what happened then. lol I lost my lunch. But Jeremy was really sweet the whole time. And he wasn't grossed out or anything and the entire meet he was just always with me and being sweet and cute and just the best.
Finally the half mile came... and in the beginning i got boxed in and then almost tripped and I lost my cool and didn't run as hard as I could coming in 13th with a 2:24. Disappointing.... especially since the winning time was only 2:16.6 and it was Sarah. But... I'm pretty much over it because I did do really good in the mile which is my favorite event and everyone, including Burkey, says I should be happy with it overall.
I watched the last couple events before taking off with ryan, jamie, and jeremy. We met at Benningans with Jenny, Jon, and matt. Good times were had there and good food too. The car ride home was fun even though I was really tired. (I got to sit with my Jeremy :)
When I got home... there were a bunch of people there who said suprise. hehe It was great fun... Michelle and Mike through me a suprise party and they put up all these sweet decorations. Everyone that watched the meet plus Mark, P, Chris, Kristina, Josh, DAve, Krissy, Ang, FAhim, Greg, Brenda, Justin, Jason, and a couple more were there. Mike Mendez brought over a funny tape from teh senioer all ngiht party that I/we got to watch. It was great great fun. I love my friends :)
Then Sunday was graduation!! I was really nervous before the speech and all... but it ending up turning out really well. Lots of people said that they really liked it!! So i'm really glad about taht...everyone was shocked when I sang part of teh Graduation Song... it was my attempt at a different twist and it worked, I think. hehe It was so happy and sad to see my friends go up and get their diplomas... I'm so proud of everybody but I'm scared taht I won't see some of them that much or ever again. I'll just try to keep in touch with those that I want to see again.
After, I was there for probalby an hour taking pictures. It was nuts... I've never taken so many pictures. I was kind of crabby with my parents because I was trying to take pictures with both of them at once but Jeremy, krissy, and Dave were there to calm me down. My favorite cousins came and Aunt Sharon so that was cool and Johnny. And the Cains and Grandpa, too. The Quirogas were also there and Shannon, of course. I can't wait until I get my pictures back today. They should be good.
After that, Jeremy, the Quirogas minus craig, Johnny, mom, Dave, Krissy and I went to Red Robins. Good food was had. then after that a bunch of us came and played DDR!!!! at my house. That was awesome because I have realy been missing it. Overall... it was the best weekened ever.
I love my Jeremy, I luv my friends, I love my family and I love my life!!!
This summer shoudl be fun... it already has been.
Adn I'd like to say thanks to Jeremy for being such a sweetie and being tehre for everythign alll weekend and al the time!
