Should I go to ICC or not?

This is a public post since I need my non-LJ friends (which is most of the people I know) to weigh in on my decision.

As ICC is quickly approaching, I need to make a decision...should I go to Detroit or should I just stay home? I've already taken the time off, so if I don't go, Joe definitely will and I'll just stay with my parents for a few days. Here are some of the pros and cons:

Pro:

• I've already taken the time off
• I'll be able to get away from the house for a while
• I'll get to see some people that I haven't seen in a while
• I might have fun....maybe.

Con:

• I am really short on cash right now
• Last year, I spent a good deal of time in my hotel room because the crowds made me nervous
• I didn't have fun at game last year
• I can't play Persephone if I go, so I'll have to make a new character...which requires approvals

Right now, I'm leaning towards "no"...but then I keep thinking that it might be different.

Meh...what should I do???
