Six years is a long time.
I have gone a whole day trying to post, but not posting, because really, six years is a long-ass time to pick back up like it was yesterday. So here's what I did not update (broad strokes).
Life in this past 6 years has been interesting. For one thing, we haven't moved. I mean, we bought a house and we moved, but it was, like, in the same zipcode. I have had the same job for (nearly) 6 years, which seems like a lot. The baby has grown (they do that, apparently). I turned 50 this past July and I intend to be a crazy old lady soon. Right now, I am waiting out the time before my massage at 5.
I am rusty at this thing; I need to regain my old ability to chronicle so that my future self can be amused at this in a few years.
