goodbye and thanks

After a lot of consideration, I've decided to say goodbye to this journal and livejournal ficdom in general. At first I wasn't sure whether or not to actually post something about this, but leaving my journal to die off quietly felt unfair to anyone who might come back and check for updates. I've reached a point in my life where I don't feel that I have the time or energy to devote to this part of fandom, and I'm ready to move on. I don't think I could ever give up fanfiction entirely, but livejournal has been the center of my fanfic life for over four years now and so parting with it is a huge step. Thank you to everyone and anyone who's ever read and/or commented on my writing here. I've had a blast. :)

Any writing I do in the future will be posted only to my AO3.
