Summary: Hyunseung and Junhyung start something and aren't quite sure what to call it.
It starts with a closet- a small, cramped space in an empty dressing room. Hyunseung isn't sure why Junhyung decides to drag him inside, but can't say he's displeased when their lips meet for the first time. Hyunseung bites Junhyung's bottom lip, a low growl rumbling in the back of his throat. Their bodies press closer together, Hyunseung's back arching slightly off the closet wall when Junhyung's nails dig bright red crescents into his lower back.
Voices drift into the empty room from the hall, calling them from their hiding place. They wait a few minutes- Hyunseung's hands tangled in Joonhyung's hair, Junhyung's hands gripping Hyunseung's hips- before stumbling back out with flushed faces. A quick grin between them with glittering eyes before they head out into the hallway.
This becomes their secret.
It's a habit, Hyunseung decides as he lies in Junhyung's bunk, his shirt shoved up around his neck while Junhyung licks and sucks down his chest. His fingers draw desperate gasps from Hyunseung's lips as they trace light, teasing circles around a nipple. Not one to be played with, he wraps his long legs around the younger boy's waist, grinding their bodies together and making them both moan loud enough to pull them out of their reverie.
Junhyung presses a finger to Hyunseung's lips, giving him a playful smile accompanied by wonderfully dark, lusty eyes. The younger boy smiles back, biting the finger hard and earning a surprised yelp from his bandmate. They separate again, deciding to finally join their fellow members in the living room for the movie they are now fifteen minutes late for. Doojoon glares at them a moment but Yoseob whispers something into his ear, and as usual that's enough to get the leader to forget everything around him.
They settle down on the floor, Junhyung next to Doojoon and Hyunseung on his other side. Hyunseung's allows himself to lean against him- after all, Gikwang was laying across Dongwoon's lap, what was so wrong about this? Then a hand sneaks onto his leg, brushing against his thigh before traveling somewhere much, much better. His head falls back against the couch and he bites his lip, thanking whatever higher power there was that the lights are off and Yoseob always insists on having the volume way turned up.
No, it's better labeled an addiction, Hyunseung thinks to himself later when he's seated on the kitchen counter with Junhyung trapped between his legs, his ankles hooked around the younger boy's waist. They start with grinding, but before Hyunseung can comprehend it there's a hand moving under the elastic of his pajama bottoms, gripping him tight and jesus fucking christ, where did he learn to do that?
An addiction- one they can't cure and won't cure and don't cure.
Hyunseung is scared because he thinks it's becoming something more, something that makes his heart ache and his stomach do strange things whenever Joonhyung enters the room. He's long accustomed to Joonhyung having strange effects on his anatomy, but never his heart and never in this way. Their secret becomes a cold weight in Hyunseung's stomach because he no longer wants it to be a secret. Then one day Doojoon and Yoseob make themselves official, and there's kissing and hugging and cuddling and Hyunseung feels nauseous. He hates himself and can only congratulate them half-heartedly before excusing himself to bed early.
He hears the door open and click shut sometime later and he already knows who it is when a body climbs up into his bunk. Arms wrap around him and as much as he wants to shove Junhyung away, he stays still, facing the wall. Lips press against the back of his neck and he feels himself melt into the touch because the younger boy has never been this gentle before.
“You should have told me,” Junhyung whispers, kissing his ear. Hyunseung shifts slightly, turning to look at him over his shoulder.
“Told you what?” he asks, feeling the arms tighten around him as Junhyung buries his face into the back of his neck.
“That you want to be like Doojoon and Yoseob, to tell everyone else about us.” And suddenly Hyunseung feels really, very silly and curses Joonhyung for turning him into an overemotional teenage girl. He turns around in Junhyung's arms, smiling in the darkness and giving him a quick peck on the lips. Junhyung smiles back, his eyes sleepy and he mouths the three words Hyunseung's been waiting for.
Hours later, the remaining four aren't surprised to find the pair where they are, in the position they're in. The next morning, they're even less surprised when Junhyung kisses Hyunseung in front of them before muttering a quick: “We're out, too.”
And then Yoseob crawls into Doojoon's lap, spilling the leader's cereal all over the table and effectively breaking what little tension their was as the entire band bursts out laughing.
