While writing a paper on the history, culture, and communication styles of the Czech Republic, I typed the word "Hussites" to describe an era used by the Communists to abuse the Czech love and respect for history in an attempt to push their socialist regime. However, the term "Hussites" is not recognized as a real word. When I right clicked to see my options as perhaps I had misspelled it, I was amused to find that though "Hussites" is not recognized as a word, "Hussies" is officially recognized by Microsoft Word. It's equally distressing as it is amusing.
Also, I just successfully used the word "amalgam" in a sentence. Didn't know I had it in me. =P
