HaPpY 4th Of JuLy
Happy 4th of July and god bless America. Todays always been an important day in our countries history but this year i think it plays a differnt meaning after the horrific occurance of September 11th. If you never had an appreciation for this day, im sure you will know. Most people dont appreciate how free we are as a country unless you happned to be born in a different country where these freedoms didnt exist. As for me, being the fact that i was born here being free never really ment anything to me. After september 11th i realized, how free we really are and how most countries dont have half as much as we do. It made me love being an american and gave me a lil more respect for our country. But anyways, this is not a history lessson or nuttin expecialy since im the one doin the talkin and i doubt youd learn anything from me. this fourth of july, we went to my aunts house for a little BBQ or whatever nothing to fancy tho. My aunt set up a little pool in her backyard so we could go in and cool off or whatever since it was extremly hott out. I forgot my bathing suit so i didnt go in even tho i probly could of being the fact that my brother didnt have a bathing suit either but that didnt keep him from goin in. Oh lord, it wus the funniest thing i have ever seen. First of all hes 18 and hes swimming around in this little pool having the time of his life, plus hes fully clothes not including his sneakers. It was kinda of like when you go to sea world and they have like that lil pool area set up with the whales in them and they juss splash around and everyone just watches. Well pretty much i just hung out on the deck area and conversated with my grandma and aunt and helped them in the kitchen. I tried gettin my self a little tan but i didnt exactly succeed. The rays from the sun were so strong that i would of burnt to a crisp in a minute, so i had to put on sunblock on my face and arms for some sort of protection. Later on in the day, the sun rays werent as strong and there wus a nice breeze so i layed in a lounge chair on the deck and was listening to eminem and fell asleep. So i guess you can sey my 4th of july wasnt too exciting jusst a little bit of bonding, and eating with a lot of just relaxing and sleeping. I still had fun, cause i love going to my aunts house and hanging out with my cousins and what not. I was a little bit disappointed because i didnt get to see any fireworks and i missed the ones on tv because i was on my way home when they were on and i hadnt gone with mi sister and father the week b4 when they went to see the local fireworks. Its all good tho, no big deal ill survive i still got to see the ghetto little ones that the neighbors set of and what not.
