A note to the people I'm mutually friends with:
I don't log into this LJ very often. Not often enough to keep up with all of you. This doesn't mean I'm disinterested in you, just that I'm really easily sidetracked. ^^* So if you get a new friend on your LJ, it's probably just me. (I'll leave a comment telling you who it is.)
1) There is another chapter in the process of being written.
2) I have not worked on this chapter much in the last five months. (Aside: Omg, FIVE MONTHS. I've been working on this story, however dodgily, for almost a year and a half. This was supposed to be over and done with last summer X.x)
3) I haven't touched the later parts in even longer.
What's the deal with the later parts?
"More Than Nothing" is primarily focused on Harry and Draco. Theirs is not the only side to this story, though; there is also Ron and Hermione (a more conventional romance, for sure) and Pansy.
Some of you just went "O.o whuh?"
Yes, I've got an idea for Pansy, too. Why? Because it'd be really, really weird if she weren't completely devastated by the H/D pairing. The Pansy fic is probably going to be a lot shorter than the other two parts and a lot less sexual.
Lotsa angst, though.
Questions? Comments?
I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. I haven't lost interest in the fandom, I've just been really, really distracted by this original project I've been working on.
The original project is the result of
NaNoWriMo. I broke 50k words in November, but the story wasn't finished. I spent half of December struggling and failing to work on it, all of January pretty much ignoring it, and a decent amount of this month making some good headway.
The first draft is almost done. Once it's finished, I'll take a week off before beginning to edit. I'll spend that week (and days where I've already progressed 1,000 words on my original work) working on fanfiction. I think. Probably.
With any luck, you'll be hearing from me again soon.
EDIT: New rule!! If you want to stay up in the current news with me, leave a comment. ^^* I have no idea who is actually interested in my daily life besides the people already on my day-to-day journal.
