Busy weekend. My brother's wedding was an absolute blast. Began Friday morning at White Sox park, which was really cool. We got to go into all the fancy schmancy seating locations, the White Sox dugout, and onto the field. While we were there, my phone rings, and it's an interview for a middle school job in Villa Park. That's for this Wednesday. Should be interesting.
After Sox park, the ladies and gents split up. Boys went to Bob Chinn's where they met a fabulous waitress, Betsy, who followed the boys to the rehearsal dinner to buy them drinks.
Ladies went to 2X10 nail salon for some pampering, then to the hotel for some brief R&R with the out of town family before getting ready for the rehearsal dinner at Tuscany.
The wedding day began with 9 am hair appointments at Michael Anthony, then to Holly and Jeff's to get dressed and begin pictures. Jeff & Holly rented a Chicago Trolley to take us all over the city for pictures at Adler Planetarium and Union Station.
Then we were off to the church for a lovely ceremony. No major hiccups, so that's good. Then a short champagne trolley ride to the hotel for the cocktail hour in the hotel Atrium, then dinner and party!! Great dancing, great company. It was I think probably the most fun I've ever had at a wedding. Even tops my own. We closed out the night by closing out the hotel bar. Many tequila shots were had, even with my aunt!
