Are you new? If not, list your current characters: Yes
IC Information:
Name: Flandre Scarlet
Fandom: Touhou Project
Timeline: Post-Embodiment of Scarlet Devil
Age: Approximately 495 years old, appears about 9 years old
Appearance: Has the physical appearance of a young girl, with bright red eyes and short blonde hair tied into a ponytail on one side. She often wears a red skirt and vest, accompanied by a pink shirt with a ruffled collar underneath, along with a yellow neckerchief. On her head, she wears a pink mob hat, often tilted to one side, with a red ribbon attached. She also wears white thigh-high stockings, and crimson shoes. Jutting out from her back are makeshift wings, which she fashioned herself from thin, mangled bars of iron and colorful prism shards. She can also frequently be seen clutching onto a matching metal wand, apparently the mythical Laevatienn.

Abilities:  Flandre's trademark ability is the power to destroy any object she happens to feel like destroying, and because of this ability she is considered very powerful and highly threatening. Merely focusing on an object and clenching her hand into a fist is all it takes for her to crush said object into multiple pieces, and due to her instability, this is an ability that she takes for granted, particularly when she is enraged and/or in the midst a heated battle.
As if that weren't enough, Flandre is a pure-blood vampire, and as such Flandre also possesses multiple vampiric abilities. These abilities include flight, a decelerated physical aging process, above-average physical strength, and the ability to transform into a bat at will. However, she does not have an aversion to garlic or holy items, contrary to popular vampire myth. She does, however, have a rather pungent taste for blood, and as a vampire her survival depends on receiving blood from other living creatures.
Flandre is also capable of using her immense amount of destructive energy to create captivating (yet quite deadly) showers of curtain-fire bullets known as danmaku. She uses this ability in the form of her "spell-cards", or magical cards that are each infused with a different pattern of danmaku on it. The kinds of patterns that each spell-card holds are created by the user, and it is often very hard for her opponents to get a read on the openings in her patterns because of her instability. Her trademark spell-card is titled "And Then There Will Be None," after a novel by Agatha Christie. It involves her disappearing for 99 seconds, leaving her opponent to deal with a massive assault of bullets coming from all directions. It is considered one of the most powerful spell-cards ever declared, and while most would hesitate to use such a card, Flandre often considers it in high favor.
Though danmaku is her preferred method of combat, due to the intensity and unpredictability of her bullet patterns, this is not to say that Flandre is incapable of physical combat. Her immense destructive ability is not limited to her bullet hell-type assaults. On the contrary, when in a serious battle or enraged to the point of a tantrum, she is an incredibly capable fighter when it comes to brute strength and willpower, despite her small size. In physical combat, she does not rely on widespread destructive cover, but instead uses her petit frame and agility combined with sheer force to land fierce barrages of hard-hitting blows, and is even capable of knocking her opponent into the air and continuing her assault with further, unrelenting melee attacks, or if she's feeling particularly merciless, a spellcard. In fact, a certain spellcard of hers, "Four of a Kind", allows her to create three clones of herself that can help her continue to assault her opponents, or attack multiple enemies at once, for a short time.
Her wings, as interesting as they are to look at, do not directly enable her to fly; however she is able to levitate and fly on her own. It is said that Flandre fashioned these wings herself and forcefully attached them to herself, using only bare materials she happened to find during her years trapped in the cellar. The rainbow crystals on her wings, though beautiful, are said to contain even more raw energy for Flandre to utilize as she pleases. When her ferocity is at its peak levels, the crystals on her wings burst, unleashing a massive amount of energy which Flandre can then use for a maximum-power assault, both with her bullets and with her bare hands. In this state, Flandre is incredibly lethal and horribly brutal. Rumors say that in this maximum-ferocity state, she is capable of landing up to 10,000 hits on an opponent in a single second without the use of spellcards, though this may or may not be an exaggeration.
In addition to this, she also is capable of summoning a weapon for her to use via a spellcard: the powerful Laevateinn, a damaged spear which has roots in Norse mythology: during the Ragnarok, Norse legend said that the fire giant Surt would use the spear to cause a fire to spread over the entire world. Flandre will sometimes use the spear in close combat, going so far as to set the spear itself on fire and use the weapon while it is aflame for a higher destructive potential, though she will sometimes use it to create a deadly laser that sweeps across an area of her choosing, leaving bullets in its wake.

History: Flandre is a magical vampire girl and the younger sister of the infamous Remilia Scarlet, the namesake and owner of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. However, unlike her sister, Flandre spent her 495 years of existence locked in the basement of the mansion, rarely ever seeing the light of day or the outside world and almost never having interactions with humans or guests inside the mansion. While some claimed to see a brief glimpse of her, Flandre's existence was considered a mere rumor or "ghost story", as is commonplace for such a large Victorian-style mansion. However, Flandre was no myth. Having lived a solitary life for nearly 500 years, with no social interaction whatsoever aside from when the chief maid of the mansion would bring her food and whatever unfortunate "playmates" she would come across, no luxuries at all such as heat or even light, Flandre began to grow mentally unstable, although she does not hold her sister Remilia responsible.
Flandre was locked down in the basement due to her immense destructive power, which she often uses haphazardly under the pretense of "playing" with her victims. There have been known occasions where she has escaped from her basement prison, the most notable of which occurred after the Scarlet Mist Incident caused by her sister Remilia. With the mansion in shambles and the maids and residents on edge, the situation proved chaotic until the youkai hunter Marisa Kirisame appeared and "played" with her in a spell-card duel. Marisa proved victorious after an arduous and long-drawn out battle, though the two afterwards began to develop a friendship.

Personality: In terms of personality, Flandre actually somewhat matches her appearance, despite the fact that she has grown somewhat mentally unstable and traumatized (she is deathly afraid of basements, although it is quite a rational fear for her); she behaves as though she were a 9-year-old girl, looking for a playmate to make up for her lonely years of basement-dwelling. She is full of boundless energy and has an air of cuteness, though sometimes she can be hard to understand; she can go off on a tangent completely mid-conversation and it's hard to get a grasp on what she's thinking about. She is prone to sudden bursts of emotion, although being around her in the midst of a temper tantrum is not smart, as that's when she begins to recklessly use her ability.
Though she is normally docile, she enjoys flaunting her power, although often she doesn't mean any TRUE harm by it (as far as she knows); though it is incredibly powerful, the destruction Flandre causes is often unintentional and the result of an occasional temper tantrum. She views humans as nothing more than a mere drink, though she is not beyond socializing with them until the hunger sets in. However, when she destroys her "playmates", she often will destroy them so thoroughly that there is hardly any blood left over for her to drink. This is not only due to her ridiculous amount of raw power but also due to the fact that she has never learned how to properly kill a human; since she was so sheltered, all of her meals involving blood were prepared for her by the chief maid of the mansion.
However, it does appear as though she knows much more than she lets on, and she will drop the childish act as she sees fit, or if her innocent facade is seen through. In battle, or when she is angry, Flandre is a ruthless being obsessed with decimating all in her path, and she will not stop until everything in her way is burned to a crisp or in thousands of pieces. The more serious she gets in combat, the more difficult it is to knock her down, though she often does not fight rationally in this state.

Roleplay Sample - Log: As it did every morning, the bell of the Scarlet Devil Mansion's immense clock tower rung out, heralding the coming of the new hour. Loudly, obnoxiously, the echo of the instrument resonated through the halls of the mansion, and all of the maids and servants shuffled about, changing shifts. And as it did every morning, the vibration of the ungodly brass harbinger caused the walls of even the cellar of the massive manor to stir, and the young inhabitant of the basement shuddered at the noise.
Not that it was anything particularly new or out of the ordinary for Flandre Scarlet. After all, after nearly 500 years of routine imprisonment, one grows used to the menial activities rather quickly. As she stirred about and listened to the footsteps of the servants above her, she knew exactly who each one was and what they were doing, despite having never seen their faces directly. A girl has to pass the time somehow, she thought as she looked down at the cold, rough concrete floor of the room. No window was there to add light to the room, no lamp with which to see, but Flandre had grown accustomed to looking in the dark, and her eyesight allowed her to see everything: the walls, lined with atrocious yellow wallpaper that had clearly been torn to shreds on multiple occasions and burned haphazardly, the ceiling, slowly crumbling above her, which had developed patches of mold in some places, and the ground, broken and cracked, with broken toys and stuffed animals torn to shreds strewn about. Home, sweet home.
It was a particularly cold winter morning, and even in the dingy and murky depths of the mansion's lower level, it was rather easy to feel how low the temperature was outside, and just how brutal the coming months were going to be inside. Though it's not like Flandre wasn't used to spending the winter months alone in her underground chamber, the thought of being stuck in a freezing room with no light or heat wasn't the most appealing thing in the world. She floated over to the other end of the basement and grabbed a stuffed teddy bear, torn at the seams and worn from overuse, and cuddled it until the footsteps starting moving towards the door of her cellar. She recognized them immediately as those of the chief maid's, probably with a platter of some sort of freshly-made appetizer, and she grinned to herself.
Her stomach growled and her fangs instinctively sharpened, knowing that food would be coming soon, as it always did. For now, it was simply a matter of waiting. Just as it always has been.

Roleplay Sample - Journal: Admittedly, living down here can have its perks sometimes. I know I probably say this a lot, but it's easy, the kind of things that a girl can get used to. No one ever bothers me when I'm having my fun, or when I'm playing by myself, or having one of my, uh, episodes...And I don't need to worry about the stupid sun always getting in the way. But I do wish I could get a change of decoration every now and again...maybe something rainbow, or really bright pink.
That silly gate guard came down to visit me today~ She looked really tired, like she had just woken up from a nap or something, and she kept rubbing the back of her head, so I think she didn't have that great of a morning and she wanted to get her mind off it? I always hear Sakuya complaining upstairs that she's really not good at her job, but I don't blame her, I would get really bored too if I had to stay in one spot all day. She's really nice, though, even though she wasn't really paying attention to my stories when we were having tea. Maybe she should get a bed outside? Or at least a pillow.
Remi seems like she's been really busy lately...she always gets annoyed at the servants super-easily when she's in a bad mood, and I can hear her from all the way down here! I wanted to go and see if she's ok, but of course I can't leave without permission, so that was really difficult...Poor Sis. And of course that library girl never leaves, so I haven't heard from her recently either.
I try to stay in the loop as best as I can, but I can only do so much down here, you know? Maybe I should try and see what's going on for myself sometime...

This game includes horrible mental and physical torture of your character. After reading the rules/faq for clarification, how do you expect your character to handle this and continue to function?
Though she appears young, Flandre is actually a very good trouper, though she isn't playing with a full deck mentally. She is already traumatized as is, and if she completely snaps, it won't end well for those around her, though it will be rather difficult to push her over the edge completely.

Hopefully this is satisfactory~

Overall Info Rating: G - NC17.
Death: I'm open to it, but talk to me about it prior
Smut: Well she has the appearance of a 9 year old girl, so I'd rather not get into that sort of thing unless some kind of physical aging event takes place.
