Jesus, the ride home today was one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had. The roads are covered in about a half-inch of icy slush. I passed no fewer than 6 accidents and at least three of them involved cars that ended up pointing the wrong way at the end.
Even with icy roads people are still tailgating at 50 mph. I don't care if you have 4 alloy-disc brakes, $300 performance tires and a parachute. If you're tailgating someone doing 50 on ice/slush and they hit the brakes you're buying them a new car.
Be safe getting home tonight, and if you can leave a little early.
