The West Coast trip is probably going to be postponed to next year, along with my long-planned trip to the UK, on account of the knee news. I am, um, mildly disappointed by this. (To understate the case.) On the other hand, I am likely to enjoy that sort of thing far more - as are the people who have to put up with me - once the pain-and-debilitation quotient in my life is reduced, which certainly comprises one of the goals of the knee replacements! And I will for damn sure let you know when I get the CA trip-planning back under way, because meeting/up with you is definitely an anticipated pleasure on my list thereof :-).
Meanwhile, may this be a tremendous and triumphant year - for both of us - and may cheers outweigh tears, eh?
