I've noticed my updates are starting to happen on a weekly basis... and there is a very good reason for that. Monday - Saturday I am non-stop busy with classes, hw, band stuff, yeah. So on Friday we (as in the 8 physics major in 2008) spent 11am - 4:00 doing a physics problem set. Not cool. And we recruited just about every physics professor in the dept to help us, and even they were stumped. They would try and solve the problem for a little while and then they would be like, "Uh, I've gotta go do something... good luck." But at least they helped us for a little while.
Oh, my suitemates are so awesome. They crack me up everyday. Cara and Caitilin share the double and I swear they will be the end of us all. They are corrupting me. We had our room health and safety inspections on Tuesday and Cara, Caitilin (in the double), and Katelyn, Ashley, and I (triple) got "a tad bit disorderly" on our insection form. Honestly, if we are disorderly, I am afraid to hear what somw of the guys got on their sheet. Julie, in the single, was the only one who passes without a blemish. Anyway, Cara took all of our sheets and added some side comments. Apparently, she and Caitlin have a marajuana forest flourishing in their room along with numerous peep holes. And Katelyn, Ashley, and I have a crystal meth lab. And a bonfire (we do light copius amounts of candels). And Julie has penguin breeding cages all over the room. She has a borderline-healthy obessision with the creatures. Ok, so maybe it sounds lame. You just had to be there. Afterward, she posted them on the Wall of Shame just outside the Waiting Room. Just remember, What Happens in Loyola 139 Stays in Loyola 139.
Football at Yale today. HC beat Yale 23-19ish (if memory serves). Yeah, and band won too. I swear the Yalies are on crack; their halftime show was STUPID. Honestly, I can't even call it a show. I think I will call it a mad-fest. They just ran around on the field when the whistle blew and strange "witty" comments were announced over the loud speaker. Some of their comments were pretty sketchy too, and considering it was "Youth Day", rahter inappropriate. It was the most absurd and tasteless display I have ever seen. Blech.
Band is awesome. We spent the whole ride back from New Haven singing Disney and showtunes. Sweetness. I heart band.
Defintitely skipped out on Kimball dinner tonight. Suzie, Alex, Julie, and I decided to go to Friendly's. Yay! Alex needed to get film developed anyway, and we needed to get a volleyball so we could practice before our first band volleyball match. (Yes, we entered a Band team for intramurals! We are going to kick some serious butt cause band kids have some serious athletic skillz.) I'll admit it, we went to Wal Mart to get the volleyball, but they were out of stock!! Wha?! Unbelieveable. Oh, and just so you know, all Wal Mart stores smell the same. Freaky.
Ok, goodnight.
Oh yeah, GO RED SOX!
