So I’ve had a lot of things rolling about in the ol’ soup can upstairs… And I’ve finally decided to throw this stuff out there.
Mindi - I realize you’ve known the fella for like, ten years or whatever, but less than a year ago, you hadn’t even kissed a guy. I think the entire thing is kind of sudden. Of course, I don’t know you nearly as much as I’d like to. I’ve still got this crush on you to get rid of now. It’ll be alright, don’t worry about it.
Kayla - I miss you sometimes. It’s a shame that things went the way they did. We were friends once. I don’t know what happened to that.
Susan - Really, it’s too bad you have a boyfriend. We get along well, you and I. Ah well. I think I’ve gathered that you’d just like a friend, and that’s what I’m going to shoot for.
Jennifer - For as much as I fight it… I find myself attracted to you. I keep things under the surface as much as I can because I don’t think it’s what you’re looking for now, or in five years. I’d love the opportunity to really get to spend time with you. To see how it may or may not work. But whatever.
Stacy - This is odd… I don’t really want to get attached to you, yet I find it happening. I’m not sure if I should let it happen or cut things off now. Cutting things off would be my standard cut and run tactic that’s served me so badly in the past. But I get this terrible vibe sometimes right after you leave. Screaming at me, “Good God man! What are you doing!?”. I’ll have to work on all that I suppose.
Erin - I don’t know if you read this or not. If you do, you probably don’t read my friends page. You need to know that Jared apparently suggested Jennifer marry him and have his kids. Well, she turned him down. But I thought you should know.

And now back to our regularily scheduled program.
So I’ve been home, what, two weeks now? Something like that. It’s boring as hell here. My only reprieve is when Steve happens to not be working. That, or the fact that Stacy spent a few nights here just recently.
Bored. Bored. Bored.
That’s how things have been.
Oh, Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.
So yeah, Christmas gifts… I’m trying to rub things in to anyone who didn’t get much, but I got a lot of what I asked for. I got my TI-89 titanium, a new razor, a buncha new shirts (those really nice ones from LL Bean!), candy, and a bunch of smaller stuff that doesn’t leap to mind.
I also snagged the old cordless phone and answering machine from the basement. My dad says the charger in the cordless is bad. I bought a new battery for it, and so far it’s worked great. Of course, It hasn’t really been given an endurance test yet. We’ll have to keep Sam’s phone around in case it does go.
So Jon and I have been playing some Dota (aka Warcraft 3). It’s an interesting game, but everyone thinks they know best. It’s really a downer to play it sometimes, so I don’t generally play more than two games in a row.
I’ve also been playing a lot of Civilization IV. I can’t seem to beat the game on Prince. For those of you who don’t play, that’s difficulty number five. I can whomp Noble (the setting just before Prince) though.
I finally got all of the Original Transformer’s dl’d. I’m also pulling down seasons one and two of Desperate Housewives for Steve. He says he enjoys it, and seeing as how the second hd in my Compaq is actually his… Meh. I probably won’t watch it, but that’s not too important. Bandwidth may as well be used for something. May as well be that.
I helped Jennifer move a bunch of stuff from her apartment in Rochester back here to NU a while back. It was good to see her. I hadn’t since the summer. Heh. We really had that car of mind full. Could’ve squeeked a bit more in, but not much.
Well that’s everything that leaps to mind at the moment. I’ll let the lot of you get back to your lives. You all have things to do too.
