(no subject)
Okay, so I left two things out of entry yesterday...
My dad is doing some remodeling in our family room. New sofa and chair, ripped the fireplace apart to add a mantle and space for a big screen tv, and was going to wire som new lights. Everything went pretty well except for the lights. Accidently drilled through an existing wire and tripped the breaker. Now none of the other lights in the family room work. He had to puch a hole in the ceiling to get to that wire to fix it. Now he's a tad touchy because mom and I told him that he sucks at patching holes in walls (which he does).

So yeah, I finally figured out how all those networks make their money. And by networks, I mean things like the birthday network, or the cellphone network. Where you get an 'invitation' from a friend who already signed up and wants you to sign up. I've gotten alot of those... But I've been a bit skittish about giving them my email password so they can get to my address book. Turns out for good reason. I didn't get any junk until I started getting those invitations. Now it's fifteen a day. So yeah, email lists. It's complete bullshit. And really, really annoying. Because I know if I try and reply, it'll just authenticate my email addy and I'll get more, and there's no 'click here to unsubscribe' link, so I know the companies are complete garbage (even if they did have a link, they'd still be, just by their email addy). And not to mention all that attachments that I'm sure they'd just love for me to open. *takes a deep breath* /end rant
