Rockin' the Clinic Hardcore!
It's 10:20 pm and I'm at the clinic in my office jamming out Inna Gadda Da Vida, felt like the right thing to do. Waiting to have to go pick up Genie from work, got here way too early for what I had to do and now I'm too lazy to drive back to Tacoma to get home only to have to drive all the way back out here anyway, seems rather pointless, seeing as that she gets off in one hour and Tacoma is like 15 minutes away and all. That organ sound is great, and this is so so so so clinic music. Today during actual work we had a power outage when I was trying to screen one of my patients so he'd be set to see the doc and so EVERYTHING that wasn't battery backed, lights included, shut off. This didn't stop me, this patient and myself did his vision test, color vision test and electro-cardiogram all in the dark, with only the aid of a tiny flashlight. Whereas everyone else was slacking off, I was making it to where I'd be able to slack off when we had light ;)
Oh yeah, this is fun; never realized the clinic could be this relaxing, but of course I'm really the only employee here, other than those ROTC kids who come here 24 hours a day for treatment from one of they're cadre for when they get a boo boo on their knee or something, freakin' college kids, you'd think they'd have known that it wasn't all handwritten tests. Ok, that's it for now, I need to find something else to consume my time, I do believe, adios y'all!
