I'm still here
Hi! I'm still in Aberdeen. I was supposed to be enroute to London - but missed the train. So I'm flying out tomorrow morning to London, reaching Heathrow, spending some time there, catching a taxi to King's Cross (I may wander around to Platforms 9 and 10) and catching a 1PM train to Meldreth in Hertsfordshire! The only benefits are that I don't have to find a place to sleep, I get to watch the "Strictly Come Dancing" final and I get to keep Eleonor from getting freaked out (even though my return freaked her out).
Uncle Reg: Are you a vegetarian?
Me: No.
Uncle Reg: Will you be hungry when you arrive?
Me: I'm sure I will.
Uncle Reg: I'm sorry you'll have to put up with my cooking.
Me: (thinking in my head, not outloud) I like your cooking.
That was actually the second time today that a member of that family asked me if I was a vegetarian. I love this family. I love meat. I love the fact that family is dropping me off at Heathrow (Anne) and picking me up at Metro (Mom and Dad). I've started getting homesick.
