It's been a long time, but now I'm back...
It's been a while, and so much has happened over that time. First, and most importantly...I moved out! Spent the whole month of April packing, shopping, getting rid of things and stressing out about the big move...and now, I've been in my new place for a little over two weeks and I just love it here. The apartment is great, and it's in a really nice area. Everything I would need is close by, and I am less than 10 minutes away from the mall. Perfect. So, now...I no longer have to drive over 500 miles a week, between my commute to and from work and going to see Greg. I'm much closer to both and much happier because of it. Life is good.
In other news, Greg and I are almost 2 weeks away from our first anniversary. On one hand, I can't believe it's already been a year; on the other, it seems like we just started dating. I can honestly say that I have never felt the way I do about him for anyone else...ever. It's so wonderful to be able to love and trust someone so completely and know that they feel the same way. Every time I think about the future, I picture him in it. As much as it definitely freaks me out to say this, I think he may well be *the one*. Even after a year of talking every day, several times a day...he still makes my heart flutter as much now as on June 6, 2006.
I am a happy girl. And for once, I am not going to question it, wait for the other shoe to drop, or have any negative thoughts about. I am going to just be happy, be loved, and enjoy every bit of the good that has been coming my way.
