Two Weeks till New Year...!
Guess what that is! It's a map of 7th Avenue, the livehouse in Yokohama where Ruki first met Reita and Uruha, in 2000 or 2001. (Or so Uruha claims. In one interview Ruki and Reita insisted that it was in a venue called DIMENSION, of which I haven't found any information with my googling skills.)
Yokohama, as you can see below, is in Kanagawa Prefecture (where all three are from), and it is only an hour's train ride and 600 yen (= c. 6 € / £5) away from Tokyo Station. I wonder how close to Yokohama they lived and where..! Their home cities have never been revealed; all we know is that Uruha and Reita come from a small village, and Ruki, if I remember correctly, lived quite close to them, in a neighbour town. Their parents still live in these unknown towns, and that's where the trio goes to spend New Year's every year. Apparently Uruha and Reita even go to the same party.
I suppose their siblings come home for the holidays, too. Reita and Uruha both have an older sister, Ruki an older brother, right? Ruki perhaps won't be having that much fun, though, since his relationship with his parents seems quite formal. Uruha and Reita, on the other hand, must have a blast together every time.
I'm sorry, I'm getting positively stalkerish, here. (^^;) It's none of my business how and with who they spend their holidays. I just hope they get a good rest this year. They have the Venomous Cell Tour finale on the 14th of January, and after that, who knows? Certainly there'll be a grand 10th anniversary live in March, but is there going to be something else special, as well?
I realize I haven't said anything about Kai and Aoi. The latter will of course go all the way to Mie, as usual, and will again feel like never coming back to Tokyo, as usual. XD Kai's parents live in Tokyo, I understand, so I suppose he'll be having an urban New Year. I'm sure they'll both enjoy themselves.

Of course, there's Christmas before all that, which in Japan is a weird holiday dedicated to love and cake. (Cake, of all things!) Perhaps the Gazemen will be going on dates? Or if their love lives are in bad shape, Uruha can always take out one of his precious guitars, Aoi can stalk them, and Ruki focus on scribbling together yet another angsty love song. Reita has Keiji, and Kai... You know what, I bet Kai has a legit date. In fact, I bet he's in a long-term relationship with some lovely young lady, anyway!
I've rambled long enough. This'll be my last post this year, as I'm leaving tomorrow to spend the next two weeks in the countryside at my granny's, and, alas, I'll have no Internetz there! So, uh, to anyone possibly reading this, please enjoy the holidays! I suspect my time shall be mostly spent watching telly and reading textbooks...
