(no subject)
A good new years and a great 2nd of January for me!
So New years I went over to Dwayne and Yvette's (my dad and Ruth's Best friends) and we had a huge New years party. Did some drinking (5 caesers and a bunch of jell-o Shooters) So i was louder then normal...which if you know me is a feat in itself. Lots of great food which is as always when Dad is cooking, and lots of people. Then someone broke out the kareoke Machine... and it got even more awesome. Lots of bad singers and horrible songs later this girl gets up to sing. She is liek 19 years old and she starts singing, liek really singing. I was like "Wow someone here can sing" So every one is like "wow you are so good! You sing so beautifully" So she sang a few more songs. It wasn't until the 3rd or 4th that i realised she really wasn't THAT good. Ruth asked if she had training and the girl said she had 13 years of training... 13 years for THAT? She has no singing voice and overcame it with training which i applaud her for, but I kept thinking to myself that i could name like 5-10 people from Sturgeon that would blow her out of the water just with Natural talent. Maybe I was spoiled with great singers back home. I just kept wishing Brad or Chiara was there just to sing one song and show them what real talent sounded like. This girl had training, those 2 have TALENT, god given talent and they sound WAY better Its almost liek night and day for a trained ear ( even though mine is not that trained anymore, I cringed alot when she was singing phantom stuff)
On the 2nd (yesterday)I went over to karen's and met her family who were very nice (well her sister was in a foul mood, but oh Well) and we watched Stealth and war of the worlds and then Willy wonka (the new one) I enjoyed talkign with her mom and Dad and they were very nice. Plus I got to do a bit of snuggling with karen which always makes my Day.
I GOT DRAGON FORCE!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE It came int he mail yesterday! Now I just need to get a Sega Saturn. if anyone sees one in the GTA for sale, call em right away and let me know I might have you buy it and instantly pick it up/pay for it. I want to play this game so bad! (416 621 2632 Home and 905 276 1906 work, my cell is missing)
Anyways If you see a Working Sega saturn anywhere let me know. and i have to go back to work, Bye for now.
