This is the Frequently Asked Questions post. This is where you direct any questions you might have.
What is a Big Bang challenge?
- A Big Bang challenge is when authors sign up to write 20,000 words or more in a complete story, in some cases 15,000, in this case the word minimum will be 10,000 words. Authors are given about 3 months to write this story. Then artists will pick out of the completed stories (just shown the summaries) and make a minimum if one piece of art for the story (more is welcome though).
Then stories and art will be posted for everyone to enjoy.
What are authors allowed to write?
- Anything as long as its Queer as Folk (US) related. So any characters, pairings, and story types. Crossovers are also welcome.
What type of art can be made?
- The art can range from hand drawn and painted works, to photoshop graphics, and even fan videos or trailers as well as fanmixes.
What will happen if an author doesn't complete the challenge?
- Nothing, just let as know if you can't finish and we hope you will sign up next round.
