Why I Recommend This Fic:
The writers on Queer as Folk showed us the many different faces of queer lifestyle over the years and introduced us to all the trappings that come with it. The glitter, the thumpa-thumpa, the issues that involve gays, the sex, the drugs, and so on. And where the show's writers stopped, the fanfic authors took over. This short piece beautifully deals with one such what-if scenario while keeping the characters very much recognizable. What if Brian's motto of never doing drugs that are not given to you by your friends... was not good enough? Because while QAF taught us that excessive drug abuse was one of the evils that could drag you down to the depths of depravity (hello, Theodore), it ignored the fact that, on a bad day, even casual drug use could be a killer. Thankfully, we had Keira to write this fic for us. Enjoy! :)
