I loved the brief glimpses we got of Brian and Gus, and it frustrated me that after S1 we never again saw Brian with both his boys at the same time.

So, like always, I write what I would have liked to see in canon.

I really enjoyed this, especially the Gus POV. SOOO cute! His belief that his daddy is so perfect is absolutely charming.

And "Dus"...what a great thing for Gus to call Justin.

I had the feeling from the rare glimpses we got of Brian and Gus that Gus would find his father fascinating - a "hero" figure of almost mythic proportions. Especially at this age (later, of course, it will be a different story - it always is - hero worshipping your father is rarely a feature of adolescence *g*).

It seems weird to me that after the bottle warming incident in S1 we never saw Brian, Justin and Gus in a single scene together (well, unless you count the birthday party, which I don't). Considering that Justin was a constant in his father's life for all five seasons, that's just odd to me - that there's never any hint of Gus having a relationship with his father's partner. In fact, in S5, Justin seems to be more interested in JR than in Gus. And that's just ... well, weird.

"My" Gus is as fascinated by Justin as his Daddy is. And it's a mutual thing.
