You had me going there with Sam's description of Justin's new life in New York. I'm glad Brian fought himself back from the edge.

And, well done on having him admit that he wants Justin with him (and Justin wants to be there)!

Brian could only close his eyes and enjoy this moment for as long and as hard as he could. Then he looked up, looked around, and thought: Fuck you, Sam. The rest of the world can keep you busy with their hate. There's only love here.

Justin wasn't the only one who was blessed

IMO Justin would never do it bareback with anyone but Brian (not that Brian would necessarily let him, at least not for the next ten years or so). So once I got to that part the angst couldn't get me anymore...phew, because Brian not calling and that e-mail were tough :(
