*hugs* Oh gosh, you call me when you are feeling better and breathing easier. That's awful scary. I'm glad that your department took such good care of you, you're lucky to have found such a good home professionally.
Thanks. I'm home all night if you want to call me. I'm not in pain anymore, and doctor #2 says it's probably the same thing I usually have, just more extreme. And yes, the people here are so nice.
Will be giving you a ring tonight, if that's ok? Had grandma on phone all night the 13th and last night was mom with the "OMG look what Marcus did" (the SEC violating crashing pilot who used-to-be-our-neighbor_.
The doctor is now saying it's my normal swallowing thing, just more extreme. So I have to chew my food more thoroughly.
It is good to post again. I never do because life is routine. I'm still liking my new full-time math position. The people here are very nice. My students are stupid slackers, but that's hardly news. What's been shaking your way, my favorite math stud?
hope you feel better soon!hohaiyeeJanuary 13 2009, 21:54:18 UTC
Yikes, at least it's not your heart eh? I was worried that you'll have a heart problem to worry about from now on, when I read the beginning. At least from all the stuff I've heard from the news...and tv, a heart condition is moar dangerous than infection (once discovered).
You should totally stay in bed and listen to some soothing music. As for your awesome division head, may I suggest a large jar of fancy jam? It's pretty, it's sweet, it's practical.

Yeah, the heart's fine, it's my digestive system that's bonkers. Which is definitely the better of the two. Thanks for the suggestion for my division head. I suck at coming up with present ideas.

I watched way too much Martha Stewart at one point in my life, LOL, she's my favourite criminal mastermind.
Is it something inherent, or is it like, the different water or something? Like, sometimes after people move to a place really far away, they have problems adjusting to the different water and food, etc.

It is brought on by certain foods or when I don't chew thoroughly enough. I've been here long enough it shouldn't be the water.

OMG, if one of my professors collapse in front of me! *shivers*
Does she like a certain beverage or chocolate? For thank you gifts, that what I usually get--some nice tea or coffee.

I'm not sure if there's a certain beverage she likes, but that's a good idea. Thanks!

Glad you're okay now.
I have no present ideas, tho.
