The flathunt is over!
Yay!!
The same day I wrote the last entry, I received a phone call at night by Laura, who had seen my desperate ad on gumtree.com or the EUSA forum, and she told me they had a room to let in their flat and I should call Danna, who was in, to arrange a viewing.
Since it was just around the corner, right next to the university buildings, I went there straight away and had a look. About ten minutes after I had left, I received a phonecall saying I have the room!
So yay! No more flathunting (and writing dozens of mails...I must have applied about 100 times...)! (\^_^/)
The only disadvantage the room has is that I don't have internet access there. But since the university is right next to it, I can just go there and sit outside on a mat to use the university wifi (as I am doing now) ;) As soon as I have my student ID, I'll be able to get inside some buildings though, as I've just been told by the nightguards who came by!
Oh, and I will post pictures some time soon, when I have internet access from a warmer place...)
