The New Moon
By Tyler "Q"
What if the night sky isn't there at all
If its just a man with a needle trying to sow up the world
The moon a button that slowly comes undone
And we'll have sex for fun
There is no love on that horizon just drowning under the laughing face
As the moon shines down on you
I've been looking to the sky for some sort of sign
I don't think the needle listens
He just keeps weaving this black web with one piece of thread
And the moon is slowly fading
I see only stars in the quilted sky
Her shape a black hole against the night
How can you find beauty in a face you cannot see
Or love a book you cannot read
Yet, I don't see this wind and still I breathe
Is there a way to feel rather than see the dark side of the moon before me
I've been looking to the sky for some sort of sign
I don't think the needle listens
He just keeps weaving this black web with one piece of thread
And the moon is slowly fading
24 hours a night He threads trying to tie up some loose end
The moon is slowly unbuttoned again and I sit alone in my bed
I try to let my hands defend against the new moon friends
I've been looking to the sky for some sort of sign
I don't think the needle listens
He just keeps weaving this black web with one piece of thread
And the moon is slowly fading
As I pray for her love tonight
My hours have been cut at work and besides for doing things around here to get ready to go to Chicago I am very free alot. Therefore you should call me and we should hang because I like my friends and want them to see me as much as possible before I leave. Hint hint...
