The mistress has repaired to the warmer climes of the south for a short stay. Exotic guests from the Orient are expected and there is much in the way of preparation to do. There is also the outstanding matter of automobile care on the valiant chariot to attend to.
Other than this one finds oneself embroiled in the tasks for yet another household, but am enjoying the chauffeur perks.
However the entire neighbourhood seems bent on weekend destruction, rebuilding and general maintenance. I believe I shall never comprehend the suburban frame of mind, for in my view it borders on madness.
