Emily Katherine Sly
Born Monday June 27th at 8:32am. Full head of dark hair (needless to say she looks like Rachel and Matthew). 7lbs, 3 1/2 oz, 20 1/2" tall, 13 1/2" head circumference. Born a little Jaundice, but doing just fine. she has to be under flourescent lights with an eye mask that has sunglasses printed on them, so she looks like she's going to the tanner's. Just like her mom already.
Rachel went into Labor about 10pm sunday, and it went pretty smoothly. The last few inches of dialating went fast. I wish I could have been there for the whole thing. Like when her water broke and she wasn't sure if she had just pissed herself or not.
Matthew was really supportive during Labor, he helped her with her breathing and consentration. She swore at her mother instead.
She is still in the hospital and a little sore (ok, really sore). But they'll be out soon.
